Process for Homeowners
N Time Design uses the same six-step process, whether your project is large or small. Our tried-and-true methods have been creating beautiful kitchens – and happy customers – for over 14 years. Read on to learn about our step-by-step process:
Step 1: Take a deep breath.
Your project may seem overwhelming – but now you’re in expert hands. We know cabinets – inside and out. And you know more than you think. What you don’t like about your old space. And your wish list for your new kitchen. So let’s get started…
Step 2: Measure first!
A smooth project runs on precise measurements. That’s why we start by visiting your home. Where will appliances be located? Are walls being knocked down or moved? Are you adding an island? Our initial meeting will identify any challenges so we can turn them into opportunities.
Step 3: Design and sketch.
Now we develop a workable design. We’ll incorporate as much of your wish list as possible. Our initial designs are sent to you via email to help you quickly visualize your new space. We’ll even include pricing so you can start to make decisions as soon as possible.
Step 4: Tweak the plan.
Meet with us in our Selection Center to see the wide variety of cabinets we offer. Look at finishes, colors and stains. Then, let us know where you would like to be budget-wise. Together, we’ll review your project and find ways to get the look you want while getting the most for your money. Our goal is a final design that meets your wish list as well as your budget and functional requirements.
Step 5: Nail the details.
We’ve made the necessary revisions and have your final approval. But – before ordering anything – we return to your home to meet with you and the cabinet installer. We measure again and coordinate all the details one more time to make sure everything is accurate. We also help you visualize any changes in the space.
Step 6: Toast to success!
Your cabinet order has been placed – but that doesn’t mean our work is finished. While you’re waiting for delivery, we’re available to answer any questions or concerns. And we stay on-call throughout the installation process. Our job isn’t done until we help you toast your beautiful new kitchen!
